The Olmsted's sandwich dial construction — two layers of dial material with indices cut through the top layer to reveal the layer beneath — creates a depth effect that photographs cannot fully capture. It needs to be seen in person. The Horween leather strap is sourced from the same Chicago tannery used by high-end boot makers and briefcase manufacturers.
