Robin Tallendier and Wilfried Buiron founded Atelier Wen to answer a question the watch industry refused to ask: what happens when Chinese craft is given the same editorial dignity as Swiss heritage?

The Perception's dial is produced using techniques drawn from Song Dynasty ceramics — a porcelain-firing process that takes weeks and yields dials with depth and texture that cannot be replicated by printing. Each one is subtly different from the next. Xuán is the deep black colorway, named after the ancient Chinese concept of the void between heaven and earth.
